Along with floursack towels and a cookbook, aprons complete a map lover's kitchen! Map chef aprons are now available featuring eight different Maine coastal maps by Jane Crosen, from Casco Bay to Passamaquoddy Bay plus the Sebago Lake Region. The apron map designs are adapted from Jane's one-color series of hand-drawn maps (displayed on the Cards page). If in doubt as to what areas are shown on each map, feel free to call or email for advice on choosing a design.
The artfully detailed maps are silkscreened with white ink on dark-colored aprons (Maroon and Navy) and dark blue ink on light colors (Stone and White). The 100% cotton twill fabric has a soft hand, with a Teflon finish to resist stains; the aprons wash well in cold water. Made by Port Authority, the aprons are classically styled with curved contours, an adjustable neckband with buckle, and two pockets plus pencil holder. An attractive and practical gift for adventurous cooks, map aprons are $23.95 each.
Inventory varies, so please ask first about availability of specific apron map titles and colors, then place your order online, in two simple steps:
- Email Jane about the apron you would like to order, specifying the map title. In reply, you'll receive a list of color options in stock for that map apron.
- Place your order online, noting the apron color (confirmed by email) under Special Comments.
